About Ramiro

Ramiro Castano is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Colorado and the founder of Find Your Relationship, a couples therapy practice based in Littleton, CO.

Ramiro has spent over a decade sitting with couples who love each other deeply but no longer feel emotionally safe together. What he’s seen again and again is that when safety erodes, even the strongest relationships begin to struggle — and when it’s rebuilt, connection can return.

Ramiro works primarily with couples and individuals in the South Denver area who feel stuck in recurring conflict, emotional distance, or a growing sense that it no longer feels safe to be fully honest or vulnerable with each other. His work is especially helpful for couples and individuals who still care deeply about their relationship but feel lost about how to repair it, even after trying therapy in the past.

Ready to take the next step toward a safer, stronger relationship?

Ramiro works from the idea that all relationship success or problems come down to emotional safety and he helps couples rebuild that safety in a structured, grounded, and practical way. He specializes in long-term relationship stability.

Ramiro is known for his rare ability to translate what partners are really experiencing emotionally, often articulating what people feel but struggle to put into words themselves. Clients describe his insights as clarifying, grounding, and immediately actionable, helping people stop fighting symptoms and start addressing the root of the problem.

His work emphasizes long-term relational health, accountability, and the everyday choices that quietly determine whether a relationship becomes a source of safety or stress. Grounded in both professional expertise and lived experience, Ramiro brings a calm, authoritative, and deeply human voice to conversations about love, conflict, trust, and connection.

He is regularly sought out for his ability to turn complex relationship dynamics into something clear and accessible without oversimplifying them. He has helped countless couples and individuals find greater clarity, safety and closeness in their relationships.

Unlike most relationship experts who focus on communication techniques, personality differences, attachment styles, or compatibility, Ramiro’s work cuts beneath surface behaviors to the underlying mechanism driving them. His emotional safety model explains recurring conflict, withdrawal, resentment, infidelity, and chronic miscommunication-not as isolated problems, but as predictable outcomes of eroded safety over time.

Since becoming licensed in 2011, Ramiro has worked in many different aspects of couples and family therapy, including an inpatient psychiatric setting and a center that helped children who had been sexually abused, before wanting to focus primarily on couples relationships. He has done training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Couples Therapy (EFT) and is licensed in both Colorado and Texas.

He has been together with his college sweetheart since 1999 and married since 2005. They share two young children, one of whom is non-verbal, autistic. Ramiro and his family reside in Colorado and he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family, chess, getting annoyed at conventional relationship advice (because it ends up being harmful) and competing as a professional air hockey player.

Ramiro is based in Littleton and offers in-person services to people in Littleton, Highlands Ranch, Ken Caryl, Roxborough Park, Centennial, Lone Tree, Parker, and South Denver. Virtual couples therapy is offered across Colorado and Texas.
